I go by Jim.

I am now at my Spring/Summer QTH here in Ohio.  I will be here until November 1, 2017

SKCC 10778T.

OH Grid Square EN91da.

I log my contacts via QRZ.COM.

Feel free to email me at j_dukarich@yahoo.com (the character between the "j" and the "d" is an underscore ( _ )).

My telephone number is (330) 612-9161.  Feel free to call me.

I got my original Novice call sign - WN8OSS - in the Fall of 1964. I was originally active with a Knight T-50 transmitter and a Hammarlund HQ-110 receiver on 40 Meter CW. I worked 33 states from my home in Cuyahoga Falls, OH as a Novice. I got my General in 1965 but I let my license lapse in 1970.

I spent my working career in military electronics and in professional radio as an RF engineer until I recently retired in May, 2012. I always thought that I wanted to get my ham license back after I retired.  I got my license near the end of 2012 getting my original call sign as a vanity call.

We spend our Summers in Ohio and Winters in Arizona.  I have been active in my local AZ club's 2 meter nets.  I now have a Yaesu FTDX 3000.  In both Ohio and Arizona, we are quite limited for HF antennas because of our home owners’ associations. I have some Hustler resonators on a tripod in my back yard in AZ. I have a 20 meter inverted Vee in my attic in OH.  I have recently found my niche working CW on 20 and 40 meters and have been very active in SKCC.
