First licensed in 1963 as Novice station, WN6EQU. Upgraded to Conditional Class license and new callsign, WB6LOT, in 1964. Converted to General Class license in 1967. Finally, in 1983 upgraded to Extra Class license.  I've also held an FCC General Radio License (1st Class Radiotelephone) since 1967.

Work all voice modes, CW, and digital modes including D-Star (HF & VHF), DMR (UHF), PSK31, RTTY, DominoEx, Olivia, Contestia, & JT65 on HF.  I also work VHF/UHF and Internet D-Star mode with DV & DVAP Dongles.  Also use Raspberry Pi and DVMega boards for VHF/UHF D-Star "Hotspots".  Just started using DMR with BlueStack board and BlueSpot App, and also MMDVM software with a Raspberry Pi and DVMega boards.

Just got a SharkRF Openspot.  I love it!  I use it for D-Star, DMR, and for cross-mode'ing DMR to Fusion (C4FM).
