Licensed since 1976 and operate 100% CW. Spend the winter months on 160 meters, and my addicition to the Top Band causes lots of sleep deprivation.

160 meter transceiver : Kenwood TS-180s (500 Hz receive filter) with external Hi-Per-Mite active audio filter (205 Hz)

160 meter TX Antenna : 68 foot base loaded vertical wire (hanging straight down from a very tall sycamore tree), with 55 short buried ground radials (2500 feet of buried radials).

160 meter RX antennas : 3 small point fed pennants (51.6% the size of full sized pennants) pointing 40, 160, and 300 degrees (full details at http://sites.google.com/site/pennantflagantennas/.)

160 meters DXCC #2736 running CW and 100 watts.

160 meters WAS #1436 running CW and 100 watts.

Was honored to be a W1AW/9 Indiana centennial station and operator in 2014 celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ARRL.
