Biographical Info for WO7R (long time holder of Wo0Z)

I have held WO7R since July 22, 2013 (ex Wo0Z as of July 22, 2013, ex N0HOQ, ex KA0YSX)

I also manage: V31LL (2005, 2006), P40LL (2006), PJ4/WO0Z (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009), C6AWO (2015), 6Y7R, 6Y6M, and 6Y5AZ (2016).

I frequently operate in grid DM32, especially for VHF.

I do eQSL for my US calls, 6Y7R, and C6AWO only.

I QSL by LOTW for all calls.

A direct card, with two US dollars, will always get any of my cards back.   Please, no IRCs.   Stateside, a SASE is enough.

For my DXpediton calls, if I get a buro card, you get a buro card back.  Clublog OQRS buro requests are preferred.

If I sent you a WO7R card via the "buro", please send yours back.  I need it for an award.

If you want to send WO7R a buro card, and you are not rare DX, please send yours only if you need mine.  The "buro" is very expensive for US hams now and it wastes the effort of volunteers to send cards I will simply file in a "dupes" bucket.  You MUST also indicate PSE QSL somehow.  Putting any mark on PSE QSL TNX is enough.  If your card says just PSE QSL  it is enough. TNX QSL or PSE QSL TNX with no mark means no buro card.  If I detect you have asked for the same band and mode before, no buro card will be returned.

I continue to manage the DXpedition calls listed above (route formerly listed as WO0Z but now WO7R).

The PJ4 card looks a lot like this:

The V31LL/P40LL card looks a lot like this:

And so on for my other expeditions.

Stateside, I tend to design my own cards and print them on my laser printer.  I experiment with cards constantly, so you can get just about anything from me.

A typical direct QSL image might look like this (currently used for eQSL also):

My main operating interest is DXing (Honor Roll in 2016, 3 more on 80m for 5BWAZ, my WPX Award of Excellence is being processed).  I also host Field Day for the local radio club.  I operate the Flex 6300 with a Force 12 6BA plus a full sized 80m vertical.

As for my profile picture, that shows me as my wife prefers to see me -- a Nobleman at a Renaissance Festival.  Who am I to disagree?
