Hi! Thanks for checking me out on QRZ.COM. My name is Eric Rench, and I've been WS6L since 1985. Before finally upgrading to Extra, I spent a few years as N6MPM.

My major interest in ham radio is high frequency, and my favorite bands are, in order, 75, 40, 20 and 30 meters. I enjoy CW, PSK31, JT65, and of course, SSB. I'm not a huge fan of contests or DXing, but I never pass up a new one and I'm still workin' on earning DXCC after all these years.

My main HF rig is a Kenwood TS-590S, running barefood to an end-fed dipole antenna, or a GAP Challenger vertical.  I also use a Yaesu FT-857ND, as a backup/VHF-SSB and my JT65 rig, and a Yaesu FT-817ND for portable operations, Emcomm, emergency use, and just plain fun, QRP operation.

I'm a Emcomm person, so my home station, vehicle station and portable station are all capable of operating on batteries, and the "green guys" would love me, as my batteries are charged by solar panels.

I'm a HUGE fan of collecting QSL cards, so if you contact me, even if you live down the block, "pse QSL" as I QSL 100%! Feel free to email me at erictrench@gmail.com. Also, I'm a happy camper on Facebook, at www.facebook.com/ericrench

Check out my  website www.erench.com, for some of our favorite recipes, restaurant reviews, and more.

Hope to see you again on the high frequency bands. God bless our fighting men and women, our wonderful country, and good DX and more to you!

73,

EricRench, WS6L, Roseville, CA, U.S.A.

Remember, I QSL 100%!!!
