As clearly stated above, I currently only manage two means of QSL-ing : Direct QSL Card or LoTW.   For Direct QSL, unfortunately the local post office here has no clue what to do with IRCs. So I do appreciate if you don't send me IRCs. But for those who already enclosed IRCs inside, I'll keep trying to reply your QSL Card.

For DX Stations : You may drop yours to QSL info above. I'll try my best to send mine.

Having spent 13 years in offshore, I decided to move to a rural areas, so at this present time, I spend my workdays in Garut, a small city approximately 200 km away south east of Bekasi (my former QTH). Unlike Bekasi that is located closed to north coast of Java Island, Garut is surrounded by mountanaries providing my 2nd QTH altitude about 700 meters above mean sea level. This in certain adversely affect ambient temperature and noise level which is lower. Broadly, I can hear better any small signal coming in and manage it better accordingly.

I work mostly CW, though sometimes I pick up my mic with me for phone or playing around with digimode, depends on my mood, hihi .., but CW is almost all the time mode I exclusively play around. So if you happened to catch my audible tone calling CQ other than in a contest, I would really appreciate if we could spend times for exchanging information under favorable band condition, so we have a meaningful communication. I appreciate any station that giving me an honest report during RST exchange. Sometimes I don't understand for a station that gave me 599 after asking many times to correctly copy my call, hi hi that was quite ridiculous considering that I ran QRP, proved by difficulties for that particular station to copy my complete call. AGAIN and AGAIN, please try to give me an honest report during QSO. I'm trying my best for not being so hurry during QSO. Rare stations, DXCC and even any other form of awards ARE NOT PRIORITY TO ME, it would be nice to have them on hand as bonuses, but once again THOSE ARE NOT MY PRIORITY. That's why I don't need to be so hurry during QSO like many hams do now.  I'm just trying to keep things so simple and enjoyable with fun dealing with this hobby, so that my biggest pleasure during QSO is getting information from any station I worked.

Contesting ?? Yes, I like contesting either on my personal call or with my hamfellow at our contest station. However, for certain reason, my passion and interest in contesting is not as high as working portable QRP when going on vacation with my family ... hihi

Homebrew project is another one of my interest during leisure time. Another interest is doing portable operation outdoor, this bring me a lot of fun and more surprizing moments mainly when running QRP. Buddipole system and homebrew end fed half wave are so far being my trusty antenna I used for years during portable. Hoping I can catch you on amateur bands.

Base Station :

  • Elecraft K3 (Main), Icom IC-7300 (Backup)
  • Palstar AT2K Tuner, MFJ-993B
  • High Band Antenna (4 El Tribanders)
  • 40M Band (Shortened Dipole : .. poor antenna .. pse be patient when you have me on 40M band since I always run barefoot on my DP .. hihi)
  • 80M Band (Sloper, not too efficient since it has been shortened as 40M did)

Portable and QRP :

  • FT-857D, Youkits
  • Portable Solar Panel and Homebrew Charging Kit
  • Buddipole System and Homebrew End Fed Half Wave
  • 12VDC SLAB rated at 4Ah
