Greetings from the Radio Club of Encarnacion in southeast Paraguay!

We will be active in the ARRL DX SSB contest, as German and Francisco have cleaned up and repaired the Cushcraft A4 yagi. Our QSL path is not determined yet, but we are working on it.

We are in the process of refurbishing the clubhouse and installing a 2 meter EME station. We have just mounted two 9 element M2 yagi's on a 3.3 meter boom turned by a Yaesu G5400B rotor. The array sits on a short tower on the roof of the clubhouse.

The station will have a Icom 910H driving a TE Systems 1452G amplifier at about 250 watts output in JT65B mode. The interface is a SignaLink USB connected to a small Eee laptop computer.

Our grid locator is GG22BQ. We expect to be QRV on the moon in March 2012 with either the club call ZP9EE, or Steve's call ZP9EH, or possibly a new call, ZP9EME.

As far as we know, this will be the first activation of ZP on 2 meter EME. Hope to work many of you. Special thanks to Gary KB8RQ, Mike Stahl of M2 Antennas, and Dave W5UN for their encouragement and help!

de Steve, ZP9EH
