Toccoa, Georgia USA 30577

US stations send SASE,, all others send envelope and 2 USdollars for postage  NO IRC's   NO IRC's !!!

PLEASE NOTE:  for paper QSL  -- QSL via Dan N4GNR DIRECT. I will continue to upload monthly log extracts to Logbook of the World and if you are on LotW, you will automatically get contacts confirmed the beginning of the month following our contact.

For now, I will not bother too much keeping this listing up to date, I've decided that HamQTH.com is less intrusive with adverts and all, so my listing on http://HamQTH.com/zs3y will be the one I'll update with changes, see the info there from now on.

My station is a Icom IC 7700,  An Icom PW1 amp near 1 kilowatt,, Antenna is Hygain Explorer 14 at 30 meters or 100 feet

Ok, new note today, 22/12/2017, just looking at the qrz.com logbook entries and entries looking for confirmation from my end... example, contact with a station in North America, but trying to confirm from my end causes qrz.com to tell me I've got either the date, or the time wrong, which isn't very likely, I use CQRLog, which runs on a linux VM, which in turn runs/uses the ntp daemon, that's a Network Time Protocol daemon, which keeps the machines time in sync with time sources on the internet and the machines time would be less than 1 second off the actual time (a lot less than 1 second) but for logging purposes that would be more than adequate.

We don't have annual time shifts in this country, there's no summer time or winter time, there's only local time which is 2 hours ahead of UTC, not GMT, since even England now has summer time, an hour off their normal time.

So, back to the actual issue and topic, my log entries should be pretty much 100% accurate in terms of the timing of the contacts logged, if qrz.com rejects an entry, this would imply that the data from the station trying to get confirmation from me is incorrect. Rule - log your contacts using UTC time and date, not your local time and date, don't try and do any conversions, you're more likely than not going to introduce errors this way.
