The Auburn Valley Repeater Group was formed to install and maintain amateur radio repeater systems in the Auburn, WA area to further the exchange of information, to promote technical expertise, operating proficiency, and to facilitate emergency communications to assist local CERT teams and the Emergency Operations Center during times of emergency and disaster in the area. These radio systems are open and available to the amateur radio community, and we encourage the use of these resources.

The K7SYE analog repeater is located on the Auburn West Hill, and has the following settings:

Output Frequency: 147.240 MHz

Output CTCSS: 123.0 Hz (provided to eliminate interference from the co-channel repeater in BC)

Input Frequency: 147.840 MHz

Input CTCSS: 123.0 Hz

Power output: 50W into a 5dB PD220 Super Stationmaster  antenna at 50' AGL

Echolink node: 368267, K7SYE-R

There are plans for a UHF D-Star repeater at this site, and also a link to the the Maple Valley repeater on 147.260MHz.

The Auburn Area Emergency Communications Team (AAECT) holds their weekly roll call on this repeater, Sunday nights at 19:00. Visitors are welcome to check in after the team.
