I was first licensed in 1969 as WN0BJJ, my first equipment was a National NC-300 rx and my tx was a Knight kit T-60. I lost interest and let my novice ticket expire. I got back into radio in 2001, and have been having lots of fun.

I do 99% CW using primarily straight keys; my favorite keys are cootie keys, I have several, my favorite is made by Begali, a sculpture swing and I have to tell you if they have cootie keys in heaven that is the key I will be using :). I also have one made by GHD, and 2 from LTA, and one from Viz Key they all work great. I have a few bug's as well, my favorite is a Begali Intrepid which is a pleasure to operate and many straight keys, each one has it's own special feel. I also use my AA0ZZ EZ keyer III which has an "ebug" mode as well as being a great keyer.

I enjoy low power operating, which has been a bit rough during this time of very few if any sun spots, but it just makes it more of a challenge. My main antenna right now is an off center fed dipole at about 25 feet depending on which way the wind is blowing the trees that support it, hi hi. My wife and I have moved to the country and I hope to put up so more antennas soon, no antenna restrictions for me now except for time and money.

I enjoy portable operation as well, the picture is of my Ural motorcycle being used as a counterpoise for a 17 ft fiberglass vertical, the vertical collapses down so it fits nicely in the side car.

My favorite rigs are my Elecraft K2, KX1, K3, my Ten Tec Argo 6 , an MTR-4 and an ATS-4B, and last but not least a NORCAL 2n2/40 rescued from ebay and restored to operation by my good friend Johnny AC0BQ

If you have interest in qrp operation, you might check out a great group, Four State QRP group, at http://www.4sqrp.com/

Thanks to those who are willing to dig out my tiny signal, I appreciate it very much.
