I have had my amateur radio license since December of 1997, upgraded to General in September 1998 (with 13 WPM code), and finally to Extra in November 2016. For the HF bands, I use a Kenwood TS-570 and the antennas for HF a 80-10M Windom, and a Cushcraft RF vertical for 10-20 meters.

Along with getting on the HF bands I frequently use all VHF/UHF bands from 6 meters right through 900 MHz. I have a repeater on 224.060 in Norwell, MA (Part of the Quahog Repeater Network), and 927.4750 in Marshfield, MA (Part of the NEAR-900 Network).

Check out one of the web sites I maintain, nerepeaters.com It contains a listing for all repeaters in New England from 10 meters to 1.2 GHz.

I am a member of the Whitman Amateur Radio Club, Massassoit Amateur Radio Association, SE Massachusetts Amateur Radio Association, and the ARRL.
