WRTC N1L station operation (July 12-13, 2014):

Please DO NOT SEND your QSL cards to me.
I don't have N1L's logs so I won't be able to confirm your QSOs.

While I'm listed as the nominal requestor of this special 1x1 callsign,
this call has been requested by the organizers of the 2014 WRTC and
they will upload N1L's QSOs to LOTW and will send out QSL cards
for all contacts in the contest.
For more info see: http://www.wrtc2014.org/competition/participation-awards/

(11/19/2008) XR0Y went QRT on 11/14/2009. Despite some really nasty weather in the first 5 days of operation, power outages, power mains voltage swings from 59 to 484 volts that burned a radio and a power supply (yes, that is not a mistake - more than 400V of difference) we managed to keep 2 stations operational most of the time and make more than 22 thousand QSOs.

Licensed since 1986. My previous call signs were AA1TK and SP2OVL.
I'm interested mostly in HF. I prefer CW and digital modes. I enjoy chasing DX and working casually in contests..
My modest station consists of IC-756PROIII, Ameritron AL-80B, Big-IR vertical with 80m coil,
K1EL keyer and HP zd7010 notebook for logging/digital modes.

I like sending QSLs as much as receiving them.
I ALWAYS respond to QSL requests and I regularly update my logs on eQSL.cc and LOTW.

I've been involved in software development for years. Worked on many projects in automated test equipment, networking equipment and financial services industries. Got PhD in computer engineering from Northeastern University and before that double master's in EE and CS from Gdansk University of Technology. I've done my doctoral research in the area of dynamic reconfiguration of cognitive radios.
