VI2AJ2016

•••- •• ••--- - --- ••--- ----- ---- -••••

Thanks to all those that worked us throughout the Jamboree.  We were able to get just over 800 q's in the log with very limited operating time due to the scheduling provided to us by the Jamboree. All q's have been uploaded to Club Log and LoTW.  if you do not find your qso, please contact me at VK2FFG@gmail.com.

Direct QSL's and OQRS direct requests will be going out as received (based on Life/Family commitments) All requests received prior to 19 January will be going out on the 20th January (Australia time)  Bureau cards will be sent off monthly to the VK bureau.  Thanks again for working us during the Jamboree.  Craig VK2KDP

What is the Australian Jamboree? Well, it’s the biggest and best event in the Australian Scouting calendar… so big in fact, that it only runs every three years! The 2016 Australian Jamboree (or AJ2016) is the 24th Australian Jamboree, where over 12,000 Scouts will converge on Cataract Scout Park to camp for 2 glorious weeks of fun, fantastic adventure and friendship.

The 2016 Australian Jamboree will start on Sunday, 3rd January 2016 and finish on Wednesday, 13th January 2016.

AJ2016 will be held at the Cataract Scout Park located on the edge of Cataract Dam in New South Wales, Australia, with a number of activities including Amateur Radio. The amateur radio activity is operated by the Fisher's Ghost Amateur Radio Club. http://www.fgarc.org.au   If you are trying to work us, please be patient, as the operator may be a Scout in front of a microphone for the first time.
