Hello, I am glad you looked up my QRZ page! Maybe it was because we talked on air, maybe you seen my call on a email or webpage somewhere else, or maybe it was because we had a eyeball QSO. Whatever it was I am glad we met!

Let me start by telling you a little about myself and the things that make me! I am a fully devoted follower of Christ. I am the husband of Leah W3LEO and father of two wonderful kids. Our Church home is Life.Church. We go to the Edmomd Campus. You may have seen the Big Cross on Interstate 35 in Oklahoma.

If you have not seen it before here is a video I took with my DJI Quadcopter. Please forgive the shaking of the video. It was about a 25mph South wind that was pushing the quadcopter around.

So what do I do when I am am not playing on the radio and my toys. I get to play with TV stuff.

I am the Assistant Chief Engineer at KFOR News Channel 4 & KATU Freedom 43. I Ensure that all the media in our system and insure it is ready to play on the TV when it time for it to play. I keep the transmitters on air pumping out 43,000 watts on KFOR and 56,000 watts on KAUT. We also air Antenna TV, This TV and Escape TV. I also support all the translators that we own in Northwest Oklahoma that provide lifesaving weather information, news, and entertainment to rural Oklahoma. I work with the stations two-way radio systems also to ensure proper operations of the radio system. Have I managed to get three of our other engineers here at the station to get their license too.

God has blessed me with this job and I thank Him everyday that I get to do this kinda stuff.

Back on Ham Nation episode 108, I was on Ham Nation in the video segment where I gave a tour of our Ham Holiday event that we hold in Oklahoma City each year. Here is the video for your viewing pleasure.

Do you have NTS Traffic for me? How about for Central Oklahoma?

You can find me on: 444.000Mhz + 151.4hz W5MWC Repeater & on the 7290 Traffic Net on Saturdays when I am not busy with The Mid-Del Amatuer Radio Club or Central Oklahoma Radio Amateurs.

We can pass traffic too! That is what Amateur Radio is about. We need to exercise our communacations skills!

I am now getting into the Teaching scene. I am teaching classes for people to become Technician and General Class Radio Amateurs. I have been writing curriculm for the classes that we hold. We are  holding a Technician Class in the spring and a General Class in the fall. Also big news, I am now a ARRL Regestered Instructor for the West Gulf Devision.

Along with Teaching the classes I help cordnate the testing sessions we hold at Mid-Del Amateur Radio Club. We test for all license classes each month. We strive hard to be come the premier club for classes and testing in central Oklahoma.

More to come soon..
