Thank you for helping us celebrate our club's 25th birthday!

On April 25-26 2015, members of the HSVARC signed as W5HSV/25 in honor of our club's 25th anniversary. Thank you for all the QSO's.  Our special QSL card was mailed in mid June.

W5HSV is the club call of the Hot Springs Village Amateur Radio Club (HSVARC) in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
Hot Springs Village is the nation's largest gated community. For more information about
Hot Springs Village, see: http://www.hsvpoa.org .
HSVARC maintains two amateur radio repeaters.
One is on 147.015 MHz. +600 KHz. offset and PL of 114.8 Hz.
The second repeater is on 444.725 MHz. + 5 MHz. offset and PL of 114.8 Hz.
Both repeaters are open and serve the local communities.
Our club is a general interest ARRL club. We offer VE testing several times a year to the public. The club is involved in several public service events each year. Among them is the The Village Walk for Cancer Research, The Parade of Homes and The Childern's Concert.
We hold breakfast meetings each Thursday at 08:00 local time (many show up earlier) at the Home Plate Cafe. Home Plate is located on Highway 7 where Strawberry Road joins Highway 7 (coordinates: 34.65954 N, 93.06947W). Once a quarter, the meeting includes club business in addition to the normal social gathering. Sometimes we have "show and tell" additions to the meeting which can be entertaining and informative. All Hams are invited to attend.
