First got my License in April-30-1991 as Novice then went on through to Extra, May of 1992.

My Elmers told me to keep at it and don`t stop,as the question pools overlap on some topics.

They were right!

First Radio owned: Kenwood ts440at ,Second radio owned: Swan 350 tube hf and 3rd: Kenwood ts-2000 and

4th: Yaesu Ft-950. Life is to short to stick with one radio.

Current radio Flexradio 6500 and have had various Vhf/uhf radios over the years.

I did do some packet radio earlier on but now enjoy PSK31 and so many more digtal modes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packet_radio [interesting begining of Cellphone maybe without voice?]

Other hobbies are guitar playing (Peavey AT-200)-(Washburn Acoustic) and computers with windows and Linux systems.

Above is a 43 foot Zero-Five antenna. Radials are extra long at the base for future cleaning or repair. An elmer taught me that trick. If you make them tight with no slack they are harder to repair/clean.

Echolink Number: 9057 connecting to the local repeater @ 147.165

EST. 2002, Long time linking but sometime I connected up early on .Like it or hate it! :)
