This is my shack today a new coat of varnish and a grounding system works wonders.

The IC-706  I use for Rag Chewing & The IC-7000 handled the digital like FT8, JT65, you know Stuff.
I still like Getting on The Citizen band they are several CB clubs in the area & let us not forget the DMR
in South Carolina like PRN network & The SC HEART Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Repeater System.

I've been trying something new to me 3-D printing it was confusing at first but by watching YouTube  and  3D Printing groups.  I was able to understand it a bit better the printer I ended up with  is called ( Monoprice Select Mini V2 } or M200. It was used and the display would not work but I got it off of FleaBay. The work platform is about 5" X 5" square here's sum picture of it and a few 3-D images I have made.  I think this is the up-and-coming thing you won't replace a workshop but it will make parts and pieces easier to attain.

I was asked how is the process done for 3-D prints. There are several websites to attain

3-D images one I like to use is called Thingiverse check out their search engine to find the

image you want. Now if you want to create a image I use a website called Tinkercad online

cad program easy to use. Here's the process I use to design a CW Key.

come up with a design then transfer your design in 3-D by using a CAD program by doing this you can refine

your design. Once you have your design in a STL file you needs to use a slicing program to convert

the STL file to a G-code file for your printer. the slicing program has information to set up your printer

and assemble the STL file instructions into G-code you'll printer would understand.  Now you can transfer

the file to your printer and watch your design unfold in Three Dimensions.  I hope this was able to help

you understand some of 3-D printing. I'm still learning you know that what makes life tastes so good.

A update on the 3-D printer. about two months ago I purchased a Tronxy X3A

put it together missing a few parts made a few ports purchase a new control board

after 3 1/2 weeks up and running several successful prints including the T Rex at

beginning of page and some birdhouses. The kit needs some work on but the average

ham could put it together. Thanks and 73
