First licensed in 1970s as WN9IFX. Was N9PSG for a while in the 1990s. Licensed as KG9HM with Advanced class in 2003. Passed the Extra class exam on November 10, 2012. Acquired call AI9IN at end of 2012.

MFJ single band radio with 4 watts on 80 meters and a Realistic HTX-100 supplies 5 or 25 watts on 10 meters. A YouKits HB1A gives me 4 watts on 20 and 40 meters. A Ramsey kit gives me a mighty 1 watt by shaking some crystals on 30 meters.

Working into 10, 20, and 40 mtr dipoles in my attic up about 30 feet and 70 feet of random wire through a tuner and out the back window for 30 and 80 meters. I'm no power station but I have fun.

You will mostly find me working QRP CW. I also do BPSK-31 on 10 meters for some DX. If I'm home at the right time, I'll get on SO-50 with a couple of Baofeng UV82 handhelds and an Arrow antenna. I also do packet via the Space Station. I will also play around with JT65 on 40 m occasionally. Feel free to email me if you want a sked.

Member of SKCC (8759T), NAQCC (5915), Ten-Ten (76189), and AMSAT (27885). I like real QSL cards. Will QSL direct (no SASE required),and by LoTW.
