Sorry as my shoes boxes were plenty full of QSL cards now MY PREFERED WAY for QSL'ing is LOTW. All of my own QSO was and will pushed into ARRL server and time to time to the Clublog service. Haven't project to print Paper QSL for all of my past or future operations. Save your time and money by avoiding to send to me your cards via bureau or direct. YOU WILL NOT HOPE ANSWER FOR THOSE REASONS. Thanks.

Along of my life depending work or friends radio communications were a part of my hobbies.

First licenced in August 1983 as F6IRA. my teachers René F6AMB (SK) and XYL Denise F6HWU gave to me the love of the CW mode. It was the time when it is possible to make QSO through the world with a simple and cheap vertical antenna. I discovered the DX ! Looking about DXCC program award and try to collect my first QSL cards in the old shoes boxes. Most time it was too easy to get new countries while contest week end and DXpéditions. And so I began to pileup fighter. Now most of DXCC, WAS and EU awards were complete but still on the air to chase expeditions and special callsigns for pleasure to meet friends or break the pileups. Operator to F6KNB ARC I grown my experience to manage contest and learn lot things about propagation conditions, antennas modelisation and low bands technics.

Try to answer the question to know what is the best band of traffic at the time when we switch on our transceiver is a big step in the knowledge of the fact what is the practice of the radio.

Now retired will expect to visit some countries in Europe or outside them and join small DXpéditions if they need (green) operator. First was alone as CT7/F6IRA the 2013/09/11-25 from little village of Cortegaça, 40 kms south of Porto city town. I have used G5RV antenna and old IC706 Icom tranceiver + automatic antenna tuner. It was "holidays style" trafic but about half thousand QSO mostly in CW was made with funny times when propagation still open on 17, 20, 30 and 40 meter. All of these QSO will automaticly confirmed via LOTW but does'nt project to make a paper QSL card for this opérations because CT not an new one for most of us. However if you desire a card I can do that with graphic software and send to you an electronic copy of our contact. Thank you for your call in my next stay to CT7/F6IRA.
