First of all TNX to my friend IK8IUM Paolo who gave me tech-and-psycho help to "reload" my station. All my present and future QSOs are to him dedicated.

A bit of history....

From 1980 till 1987 my station, with my old Rig, a YAESU FT-107M and a HyGain tri-band, served as a "connecting node" between the maritimes on the seven seas and their on-the-ground families (yes sometimes I used also a Phone Patch....). I have day-by-day connected ships tracking the Atlantic, Central Pacific, Indian Ocean, From Persian Gulf to Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Madagascar, South Africa and Cape Horn zones, South America, Malacca and Indonesia.

So I might proudly say to have almost "worked" all the world, but other than DXCC, other than IOTA, other than every DX Expedition. And all NOT (or rarely) confirmed by QSL Card..... Nonetheless, all of those activities are not 'recordable' from DXCC or IOTA or elsewhere, so they shall be spreaded as tears in the Sea of Forgetfulness.

I don't expect anything from anyone, but simply I think that awards like Honor Roll etc. should be assigned, first, to all OM who, in their lifetime, used Radio to getting REALLY people togheter helping their hearts suffering less, rather than merely connecting 290000 countries/expeditions in the world aiming only to achieve an award.

I did it, with love, and I'm proud to have done. Period.

My old station was dismissed in 1990.

Now reloaded (TNX IK8IUM)

So let's restart, since September 2013 with MY SIMPLE SHACK:

2) vertical multiband antenna 'bluemoon' by IW2EN

3) Little HandHeld VHF/UHF POLMAR DB32 w/Diamond X50 vertical antenna

4) A PC

5) A lot of enthusiasm

6) My old OM Friends and anyone who send me a beautiful QSL card......HI

Born in 1964, Licenced in 1983. Plays piano since '69 and teach it, works as computer analyst/programmer in Naples Italy, loves God, family, children, all that can be radio signal, music, sports, readings, comics and drawing arts, audio/video Hi-Fi (possibly Wi-Fi...), Internet of Things, 3d printing and Arduino.

Furthermore I love real ol'cardstock QSL Cards, even that of the neighbor OM at 4th floor.

I mostly work digital modes, preferring PSK and RTTY. I'm going to do some CW, too, but only when I'm able to transmit and receiving at a "reasonable" and acceptable speed.

If you need to be confirmed quickly your QSO or SWL report feel free to write me at ik8epb@gmail.com, I'm always glad to be "worked".

(Added by PD5SJO - TNX to PD5SJO)

please add me on LotW if you worked me! TNX

I LOVE QSL, I WANT QSL and I'm strongly agree that the finest pleasure of a dx QSO is a real ol' cardstock QSL. So I accept all way of changing QSL:

(strongly) WELCOMED and will be QSl-ed anyway.

BUREAU MODE ACCEPTED AND QSL-ed (via BURO or other mode if required).

You know that then it could be a long time before you receive one in return,So you have to wait - because I do QSL 100%but sometimes it will take a long time because of reasons out of my control.

E-QSL/HRDLog and similar Electronic modes accepted checked and confirmed.

E-MAIL QSL (Extremely appreciated)

Why don't think to send me a "brand-new" HI-RES QSL VIA e-MAIL? Surely and happily I will respond to all of them (if ckecked OK). I am able to send high Res Colour QSL (300dpi preferred) via e-mail with no problem (and NO COST!!) and you can print them out in your own time. And so you can do to me. It's so easy and cheap but I still don't understand why nobody does it. I print by myself my QSL cards and would be very glad to print yours in my house!

IRC here are as Kryptonite and postal personnel went from Klingon, they believe that IRC is acronym of Immediate Retaliation of Confederation and look at me suspiciously when I ask them for it.
The smallest Euro Banknote are 5,00 so when I've dollars (when...!?!?) I can send only SAE with a pair of it within.I can do OQRS if you want, and paying via Paypal, but mind that first time I did it, I'm still waiting QSL-response after 4 months...... maybe it's better returning to the past? Could Buro be still convenient?[Updated: QSL delivered after 5 months... TNX M0VFC]

'73 and Good DXing, Ciao e Arrivederci from Sorrento Coast!
