Radio adventures started with the U.S.Navy (1967-1971).
I was a fleet sailor on the deck force aboard the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7).
One day, the personnel yeoman asked me if I would be interested in filling a spot in the communications division. After about two years of on-the-job training, I made it to Radioman 2nd class (RM2).
The rest is, as they say, history. . .
