First licensed in 1979 with novice call KA5EDH and quickly upgraded to advanced and the call KC5LT. Operated from a fixed station north of Houston Texas for about 5 years with a 5 element 15 meter long john at 50 ft and various radios until 1985 when I took up driving for a living

Maritime mobile at times from 1992 to 2001. Cruised Mexico in 1994 and returned to the U.S. in January 1995. Operated /mm on the west coast when I was not running around the country /m.

Mobile many times  from 1970's to 2015 When I retired. As of Dec. 31, 2015 I retired from driving so now you'll hear me from home.

Home is now a farm with a 1220 foot wire loop, which is supported at the top of our hill (my mountain) on six 50' poles.  I'm not mobile these days.  I'm greatly enjoying this new antenna and have made contacts with numerous interesting DX stations.  We chose our property for the hill, one of the 3 tallest in our area. That is 350' above surrounding areas, plus the 50' poles and gives us excellent propogation.

Currently using Icom 756 pro or a Kenwood TS450, Amp is an OM2500HF. I am very active on FT8 And JT65 digital modes
