The picture above is my 5 band hex antenna. My station consists of an FT-2000 as my main rig and an FT-102 as a backup for HF. VHF/UHF rigs are a Yaesu 8800 in the shack and a Kenwood 710 in my Jeep for APRS. Antennas are the hex for 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters and a 135 foot doublet fed with ladder line to a balanced tuner. This was my "all band" antenna until I built the hex. I was first licensed in 2005, got General a few months later and upgraded to Extra in 2009.
