I am currently NOT selling anything on the internet

I've been playing around with magnetic loops. They appear to be very suitable for HOA controlled areas.

My first one was a 10 foot by 10 foot square configuration. It was made specifically for 80-40 meter operations.

The performance was quite good.

The newest magnetic loop is a smaller one intended to cover 20-10 meters. Had some experimental difficulties (this mean I broke something)

and so the smaller loop tunes from below the 40 meter band to the 10 meter band. It's basically a scaled down version of the 10 foot by 10 foot loop.

The small loop is 2.5 feet by 2.5 feet and the antenna is 5 feet above the ground.

The vacuum variable capacitor is mounted on the top inline with the 1 inch copper pipe. The drive belt, I took an idea from my old Honda Accord,

and ran the belt around the copper pipe. Just hope it doesn't break anytime soon.

There's a funny story involving a mechanic and the old Honda Accord.

He was not a happy camper.

Just another view of the little guy. I used a simple cordless screwdriver as a drive motor for tuning.

You can see the small #12 wire used as a gamma match method. The antenna has a low SWR on

all bands 40-10 meters.

I used a plastic garbage can with a post mounted in the bottom and 60 pound of concrete as a weight to prevent

tip overs. The antenna rotates by hand very easily and just to the right you can see a portion of the sliding glass

door to where my shack is.

I'm working on a small rotator using the cordless screwdriver idea as a model for the homemade rotator.

Thanks for visiting my call sign page.

Have fun
