Thanks for stopping by......

This will be a beginners work in progress, so please check back.

Hello to all, got my license in May 2011 a day before my birthday. An early present to myself. Moved up to general the next year, then to extra just a several months ago. Stayed with the local contacts on 2 meter and 440 till i got the extra ticket and decided it was time to DX.

Gathered up some what nots to sell, got lucky a friend found me a nice (believe it or not) new in the box TS-440S just waiting for the right person to take care of her. This came from a SK, i have promised to take care of my new rig. This will be a great start for me in my DXing. So with my TS-440 and a carolina windom 80 i have begun my journey. In these past few weeks i have so enjoyed my QSO's,  I wonder why I waited so long to get my ticket.

Here's the new kid on the block. An early Christmas presant to myself.I have so much enjoyed talking to the world I found a good deal and decided to upgrade. Gona keep the 440 for a spare just in case or get the other antenna i want for the 590 and keep the 440 on the windom. looking at getting a a hexx beam and putting it on a 50 foot tower, we will see how that goes here in a little while.

Thanks and 73
