Monday 19th December 2016 I heard of the passing of Burt Lee G7FTF, Burt was a long standing member of Saltash and District Amateur Radio Club and a lovely chap to know, he is also the first passing of a radio friend.
I took part in Churches on the air again on the 10th September 2016 with the callsign GB5IVE from St I've Methodist church, Cornwall.
During the year of 2016 I operated useing MK0WMB when in Cornwall.

I passed my Foundation licence and applied for my callsign straight away and got the call M6CQG and I was soon on air, my first call to M0ZCP, (someone who I have known for a long time) on 28th March 2013. I passed my intermediate Exam on 12th August 2013 and got my callsign 2E0MGC 19th August 2013. On the 8th December 2014 I took my Advanced and passed and got my call sign on 17th December 2014.
I like most things to do with Amateur Radio, so long as it is RF. Not to keen on repeaters and never been on Echo link. You will find me mainly on HF on SSB, PSK and JT65, but could be anywhere.
