I started in shortwave radio listening around 1970. My Dad bought me my first shortwave reciever for my 10th birthday. It was a kenwood.
I used to spend hours, hunting out barely inaudible signals, but thoroughly enjoying the experience, nontheless. I soon found it to be very interesting and very rewarding.
I live in Jarrow, in Northeast England. The town where i live, is famous for the notorious Jarrow March, where a group of miners marched from Jarrow to No.10 Downing Street in London. They were petitioning for better conditions for miners. Many Lost thier lives on the march. I am located about 20 miles north of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Thank you for looking me up
