Ham Member Lookups: 1803

I reside in sunny Arizona. In addition to volunteering with the local PD, and my kid's school (Music Dept), I am a regional dispatcher for the nation's largest common carrier tank hauler. I try and keep active on VHF/UHF amateur radio, and participate in local club meetings and events. Since we moved south of Phoenix, it's hard to justify the gasoline to travel to north and work events. I always want to do more, but don't seem to have the time, or the extra money. Family comes first and then...

I've been licensed since 1983 and have enjoyed a lot of what Ham Radio offers, but had gone dormant on the airwaves. Thanks to a recent club outing for Winter Field Day 2017, I have been bitten by the radio bug again. I'm setting up my dual band radio at home (wife won't allow it in the car), and saving toward the purchase of a new/used HF rig and antenna.

Currently I serve on the Board of Directors for the Maricopa Amateur Radio Association, our local club here in Western Pinal County.

Maybe we'll cross paths on the air. 73, David
