Activity will be on 160-10 meters using CW, SSB and PSK31.
During this week, a couple of SOTA's will be activated as well.... if WX allows.

Thank you for your interest.

I started with the radio hobby at the age of 9, building a simple crystal radio, listening in bed to far away stations.
Soon my interest in shortwave amateur radio increased and I became a shortwave listener: PA-1781.
I am a licensed ham since 1983.

After 30 years I still enjoy this hobby.
Lots of experiments to go on antenna’s, electronics and digital radio.

I am QRV mostly in CW. Hope to work you soon (again).

QSL via bureau, e.QSL or LOTW

Maintenance on the beam and rotor Inverted Vee, 2 x 20 mtr

Symetrical tuner for inverted Vee and another projects like antenna current indicator....

The drake L7 with its 3-500Z always gives a warm feeling.... I really love this amp.

The loop for 10-28 Mhz, inside the box the motor, gearbox, end stops, potmeter and the vacuum capacitor

I'm using a wireless headset. It gives you a lot of freedom during QSO's
Not attached to any wire, you are able to get yourself a coffee and
continue the QSO at the same time...

Jabra 9120                                                                      even better, the Plantronics Supra Plus
bought it on a fleemarket for Euro 25,--

Modified my FT 2000. Installed the NS 2.4 KHz roofing filter. For more info see: www.ac0c.com

Modifying the FT2K is getting a serious job. Three rigs to be modified at the same time.

Home made 100W linear

100W amplifier with 2x RD100HHF1, Lowpass filter,      PWR/SWR circuit and automatic bandswitch

The automatic bandswitch is using a PIC controller for
freq sensing and activating the required Low Pass Filter.

The yellow board containes a Stockton Bridge
for power and SWR measurements and 2x LM3916

logarithmic led drivers, driving the PWR and SWR led's
on the frontplate. The green PCB is the automatic bandswitch.

My KX3 stationary set-up:

PWR/SWR meter, Antenna Tuner,
Power Supply and the 100W linear Amplifier

Arduino's are great microcontrollers for Hamradio purposes.

A portable morse decoder with build in Arduino Nano,
mic amp and display. Place it near your TRX and it will listen to CW signals and translate it in readable text. Great for visitors (or for yourself in case you missed the operators name of the other station...)

Dimensions: only 7x7x2,5 cm

Same but larger display

A power/swr meter, using a Arduino Nano and a Stockton Bridge for HF purposes. The meter displays instantaneous power forward in Watt, in dBm, displays SWR, PEP power forward and emits 'beeps' corresponding to SWR value, high and fast for high SWR, low and slow for low SWR.

Dimensions: only 10x5x5 cm

A different design, somewhat larger and very useful.

In case of a dike-break, my floating shack

Geared up for DX work

TS 430 and MA5 vertical, works FB on the water

13 mtrs long fishing rod as mast. Home made HyEndFed antenna for 7/14 and 28 Mhz attached. Fine antenna but it generates lots of questions and remarks from persons passing by.

Awesome !!!!! My shack 20 years ago
