Navy Captain, Sc, Retired,  Brazilian Navy, holds degrees in Electrical and Mechanical engineering and Laws, post graduation in Computer Science has  got in 2002 a MSc degree in "National Ressource Strategy" from Industrial College of the Armed Forces, a College within the National Defense University,Washington, DC.

His activities as Ham operator comes from 1978 when he got his first licence ("C" Class in Brazilian rules) and his Class "A" licence, the highest in country came in 1981.

His practice is made up UHF thru HF operations including phone, digital mode and a litle bit of CW.

Station is made up some HF Rigs (TS 2000, TS 480, Yaesu FT 450, Icom IC-746 PRO and other V/UHF eqts. Also includes a Linear amplifier by KW TL-922A,  an Ameritron AL-80B and a solid state Linear AMERITRON ALS 500M.

Recently, from June 2001 up to July 2002, he had a tour arround W3 land residing at the City of Rockville Maryland from where he went to the air with the callsign W3/PY1USK.

Capitao-de-Mar-e-Guerra Intendente da Marinha do Brasil, graduado em Engenharia Eletrica e Operacional Mecânica, Bacharel em Direito, Pós Graduado em Informatica e MSc em "National Ressource Strategy" pelo Industrial College of the Armed Forces, parte da National Defense University em Washington DC.

Sua prática inclui Packet Radio, fonia e um pouco de CW em

praticamente todas as bandas, desde UHF até HF.

Na estação constam os equipamentos, ICOM IC 746PRO  Kenwood TS 2000 e TS 480 e TS 440 e FT 450.

Lineares  AMERITRON AL-80B e ALS 500M além de um TL 922 da KW, além de Vários eqtos de e VHF e UHF.

De Junho de 2001 a Julho de 2002 operou de Rockville Maryland USA com o indicativo de W3/PY1-USK.
