My Home Brew Console Now Complete, for the time being wink

Now have a new radio to the shack, the New Icom IC-7300 cool Wow it's a Fantastic Radio.

Also added to my Icom collection is the Icom IC-910 that I'm using with great success on The Satellite's.

I thought my IC-7600 was great but the IC-7300 is in a class of it's own, well done Icom.

Running the Ciro Mazzoni Baby Loop Antenna on a G-1000DXC Rotator.

Results are great, Signals are 3s Units up and the Noise Floor is only 3-4db on a bad day.

Tuning is Fully Automatic with the Version 2 ATU Unit by I3VHF.

The 6BTV is doing fine across 80,40,30,20,15,10m but I required something with a bit more gain and direction with my 10w, and the Baby Loop works great.

"Thanks for dropping by and checking out my Station"

Interested in Building and Repairing Computers and Motorized Satellite TV.

Have now started using Digital Modes and enjoying it so much.

Always nice to learn new things regarding this wonderful hobby.

And I've got a long way to become as knowledgeable as the Pro's.

Been building some Wire Antenna's, my latest being a 40m thr 10m Fan Dipole.

As a AutoCAD User I've been putting some ideas to paper regarding a new

project, and that is a CobWeb Antenna to cover the 6 bands 20-17-15-12-10-6m.

I've created what i believe is a 1 off design of a Centre Hub.

Influence has come from the internet but the design is all mine.

Here's a sneak preview below.

Update on my Version of the "CobWebb" Antenna.

My friend Jimmy has Laser some parts for the Centre Hub Section out of 6mm Stainless Steel.

The Round Plate is Tig Welded to a Clamping Channel then U-Bolted to a Support Pole.

Next step is to mount the 1" Stauff Clamps to the Centre Hub Plate when they arrive.

More Pictures To Follow.......

Well Here's My "CobWebb" Up & Running.

Have now managed to work Japan since running the Home Brew CobWeb

based around the PixHawk Flight Controller, with a mounted GoPro Camera for Ariel Video

and a Small FPV Camera for Flying View and keeping an eye on Telemetry

either watching through Headset/Goggles or via a Ground Station Monitor,

which will be Custom Built into a Hard Equipment Case.

Mission Planner Operating System will either be Windows Based via old Laptop

or Linux Based on a Raspberry Pi also built into the Hard Case, a Flight GoBox wink
