Hello!

Currently I have two 88' doublets (double extended zepp on 20m) up between trees in the yard at 90 degrees to each other. Opposite those two antennas is my 160m inverted V antenna, it's fed with 75 ohm TV coax and there is a common mode choke wound from that coax at the feedpoint of that antenna. Also I have a 44' vertical with a base mounted remote tuner and ground radials installed on the edge of the fence line in the back of the yard. I prefer manual antenna tuners and I am using a Palstar AT2K and an MFJ 969 tuner on the wire antennas, the MBVE has a remote mounted auto tuner at the base, it seems to work well with that antenna, and since it's way out in the back yard, I don't have to listen to all that clickity clacking as it tunes up.  I have an attic antenna installed for VHF/UHF as well and it's working fairly decently. My main rig is my Flex 5000A which I use with a PC that I just recently built specifically for the hamshack. I also have an IC-746 in the shack and a few rigs for V/U. I've recently gotten some Digital modes going, so I'm planning to start making some contacts that way as well.

I am a memeber of the Greensboro Amateur Radio Association, if you are in the area feel free to jump on one of our repeaters and say hello. http://www.w4gso.org/

I also like to play with my Broadband Hamnet mesh nodes, and I have put up a few IP cameras around the yard and in front of the house, maybe one in the shack down the road, for both fun and security.

Glad to have worked you on the bands, I hope we contact many more times in the future! 73
