I'm Pisti, born in 1947 in Karcag, Hungary.

I gained my first more serious experience of radio during my studies at high school in my home town when I attended a radio course organised by the Hungarian Military.

After my final exams at high school, some work experience and the military service I returned again to radio and since 1969 I have been involved in the work of the HA7KLJ amatour radio station, first as an operator.

In 1976 I took an RH-C exam and not much later I was in charge of the radio station and then soon became the secretary of the radio club. Meanwhile I also taught younger people in preparation for their radio exams.

In 1978 I applied for and was given an individual permission to QSO from home using my self-built two-band (80/20 m) SSB / CW transceiver.

In the 90's I got the first serial transceiver / FT-7 /. Although it was only a 10 Watt one with a  custom-built linear amplifier,  I had achieved 100 watt power on all amateur bands, except on the WARC bands / 1pc GI-30 /.
Since 2007 a computer controlled FT-757GX with a FC-757AT tuner  has helped my hobby in retirement on all RH amateur bands. Since I live in a block of flats, the local conditions allow only the use of a W3DZZ and GP antennas.

Despite of this I have many nice dialling signals in my computer log.

The flood regulations before the capricious Zádor worth seeing in the area with water swamps. In the area of transport difficulties meant to ensure a constant, so in 1804 in Karcag superiors continued through the water instead of a fixed charge of the old stone bridge saw the need to establish a year-round, allowing the passage.

The so-called Zador Bridge foundation stone in 1806 was laid down on 27 November, and in 1809 it was already to be given to traffic.

The bridge was originally nine holes of the 1833 stone bridge was completed in Hortobágy also served as a model.

The completed bridge Zador twenty years represented the siege of water, but the 1830 's flooding could not resist, was swept away in the two outer pillar.

The bridge was later rebuilt in its present form in the five-hole reconstruction after wins.

The permanent water has disappeared, and the bridge were left without water.

The natural protected area a few hundred meters stretch of I-Karcagi No. cuts in two drainage canals, which flows parallel to the historic bridge
