Hi, my name is Max (Massimiliano is very long) I'm 46 years old and I was in radio since 1985.
I live in Como, a beautiful city in northern Italy on the border with Switzerland, famous for both the teritory to the Alps and the lake with its picturesque villages such as I count, Bellagio, Argegno, Tremezzo and many other famous both for their villas to the lavish gardens.
Below I post a link to take a virtual tour:
Below you can see a picture of the lake: you shall see where is located the city of Como, visible on the right, also on the mountain in front of you see the village of Brunate which houses the famous lighthouse of Alessandro Volta, inventor of the battery.
You can find a lot of information about what I mentioned above in the link down here:
My antenna system actually is only a homemade Off Center Feed Dipole about 40 meter long, the antenna work great on 80 - 40 - 20 - 17- 12 - 10 - 6 meters band.
The wire used to build the antenna are in stainless steel diameter 2 mm, one arm is long 12,70 meter, the other arm is long 28,10 meter, the arms can be connected indifferently to the two outputs of the Bal-Un.
The trasformer is built like in the schematic below with two tubolar ferrire core #43 mix.
