Please Click on the WEB Button above and Say Hi ... Thanks.

I'm retired and living in an area I've always liked - St. Augustine, FL. I retired from Siemens Medical as a Field Service Engineer. My hobby is and always was Radio in one form or another. Got my Novice in 1959, went into the Air Force, got married, raised two really good children and just finally got my General in December 2005. I've worked in Missile Telemetry, Nuclear Research, Medical equipment and started and ran my own Medical Equipment Company in Atlanta, GA. I dearly love the community I'm living in but have to deal with antenna restrictions. I usually operate on 20 SSB and FT8 plus an occasional Echolink QSO. My primary rig is a Kenwood TS-590S. I also use a Yaesu FT-857, MFJ-969 Tuner, 15M Verticle, and a Buddipole. I most often use the Buddipole setup as a Vertical and occasionally as a Vertical Dipole as pictured below. I've made numerous DX contacts on 20M SSB using this configuration. The Buddipole works great on 20M and I get around the community antenna restrictions. Recently started using Digital Modes FT8 and JT65 on 20, 17 and 15 meters. I prefer FT8 and have made numerous DX contacts using FT8 and JT65.

Nothing currently for Sale - Will post if that changes.

My Buddipole Vertical Dipole configuration below:

A couple of great Boat Anchor Radios I've used in the past. I really liked listening to the Hammarlund HQ-129X. I am a member of the St. Augustine Amateur Radio Society.
