My father KØEED passed away Friday August 18th 2017 and for those who may have talked to him over the years as a ham but not gotten to really know him I'm including some links at the bottom of the page to news stories published after his death.  73's dad I love you and will see you again. Until then I hope you are having a great time with your friends and all the Silent Keys who went before you.

I got into this hobby because of him and have enjoyed it a great deal.  I've been active and operating since the late 80's.  I enjoy HF SSB,CW and also 2 meters.  After my father passed I decided to change my call and I acquired his old call (just didn't want the call to go inactive).  I'm still getting used to it.  If I've worked you on the air thanks for the contact. If not I hope to get a chance in the future.  If you are just stopping by the page for whatever reason please sign the web contacts and say hello.

Brian (KBØIXM) now KØEED

DILWORTH—Longtime radioman and popular morning show host Don Dresser could have moved from the Fargo-Moorhead market to the national scene at anytime during his 32 years at WDAY-AM Radio, but Dresser said he loved the area too much to leave.

Minnesota-born Dresser remained in the metro area until his death on Friday, Aug. 18, at Lilac Assisted Living Facility in Dilworth. He was 84 years old.

"I never wanted to leave, as I liked the Fargo-Moorhead area," Dresser told Forum Reporter Bob Lind in 2008. "It's a perfect place to raise a family. I never regretted staying here for as long as I did and passing up going to a bigger station in a bigger city. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it all over again."
