I became fascinated with ham radio when I was about 12 years old. A neighbor showed me his shack and I was hooked. It took a lot of years but finally in January of 2007 I obtained my Technician license.  That same year I managed to get my General.  I enjoy the digital modes as well as SSB and CW, and just recently I have been experimenting with SSTV.  I met a fellow ham quite by accident and he is my Elmer here in Pennsylvania,  WB3DEL Mike, and fortunately I have another Elmer in FL Bill NT9K. And they both have taught me a lot.

The picture you see is my QSL card.  The key on the card was made for me by my Elmer in FL.  It is copied after the Amplidan.  Gorgeous work of art by a dear friend.. Thanks Bill NT9k!

I log every QSO in my QRZ logbook immediately after each QSO.  If your bio on QRZ indicates you QSL direct, I will send you my card the very day of our QSO.

My equipment:

Icom 746 Pro, Yaesu 817nd,  RigBlaster Pro, Signalink USB, a G5RV  and a 40m inverted V.
