Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. I have held an Extra license since 1992 and enjoy doing a bit of everything amateur radio related.

I currently serve as ARRL Section Youth Coordinator for Southern Florida and I am also President of the Boca Raton Amateur Radio Association (BRARA). In addition, I am responsible for the BRARA's Training and Youth Activities.

My main station consists of a Yaesu FTDX-3000 and a Kenwood TS-940S driving a collection of indoor dipoles (I live in an antenna-restricted area). I enjoy gadget building and have homebrewed several of my station accessories, including an iambic keyer and a pc-to-radio headset converter.

I also have a portable QRP station that goes with me when I travel. It consists of a Xiegu X1M all-band QRP transceiver, NESCAF audio filter and antenna tuner and a home made mini-G5RV antenna.

Please QSL our contact via LotW, eQSL, bureau or direct.

Why is there a lion on my QSL card?

When my wife and I were first married, her first birthday gift to me was a lion on a neck chain, which she chose because I'm an astrological Leo. That started me off on a lifetime of collecting lions in all shapes and forms. I have lion carvings from around the world, lion pictures, lion stuffed animals, lion wallpaper on all my computing devices - well, you get the idea. So a lion on my QSL card was the natural thing to do!
