Hi,

My name is Mark and i am a relatively new amateur starting in August 2013 with my foundation license M6OBL.

I have since progressed and took my intermediate exam in May 2014 and now operate under my intermediate call sign 2E0OBL.

 

As of the 17 December 2014 I have successfully passed my full licence and am now M0OBL

 

Gradually adding equipment since my first call sign and now operate with equipment shown below.

I am a member of the local South Kesteven Amateur Radio Society (SKARS)

Studying with the Bath distance learning course for my Full license exam at the end of the year. Which I have now successfully passed.

 

Main HF Setup

Elecraft KX3 Transceiver and on board tuner

Elecraft PX3 Pan Adaptor

Elecraft KXPA100 100 Watt solid state amplifier and tuner

 

UHF/VHF

Icom 7100 (Dstar as well but not had chance to use it much yet)

Also as backup HF transceiver

Kenwood TH-D72 Handheld with APRS

 

SDR

Afedri SDR-Net Ethernet connected receiver (HF Bands)

Funcube Dongle Pro+ (HF through UHF) USB

 

Antennas

VHF/UHF Diamond X30 loft mounted.

HF G-Whip End Fed Zeppelin's on 40m 20m 17m and 10m (Currently only active on 40 and 20)

Wellbrook Loop ALA1530 Used with Afedri SDR

 

Digital Modes

Signalink USB for the KX3 mostly with JT65 at the moment.

 

Power Monitoring

Elecraft W2 Wattmeter with HF and VHF/UHF remote sensors.
