Achieved my foundation license in 2002 with the help from Stuart at Herstmonceux Radio Club but let it laps due to starting a carrier and other distractions as a lad.

Recently reinstated M3TJT in June (2015), planning on gaining my intermediate license in the next six months and building up some equipment to have a proper play at HF from my new QTH in Alton.

Grew up in South East England throughout Sussex, now living in Hampshire following my carrier as an Horticultural Engineer, I also work several times a year on music festivals as part of a Stage-Crew Team.

I am mainly working UHF and VHF repeaters, some simplex with another ammeter and dabbling with D-Star/Reflectors but have not yet had much success in working D-Star reliably.

My equipment at the moment consists of an ICOM ID-51(5w max) using a Diamond 1/4 wave mag-mount, HM-186LS speaker microphone and the standard rubber duck is used when often portable on scrambling weekends throughout the U.K.
