G'day, and thanks for dropping by!

If you've spoken to me on air, you've already noticed that I'm a transplant from Australia. I don't think the accent comes through on CW though... maybe the "gday" instead of GE, GM etc may give it away ;-)  The bio pic is of me doing a spot of fly fishing near Pittsburg NH.

I enjoy working HF, particularly 30m and 40m. Also enjoy designing, building and restoring equipment, trying not to let the smoke out of any components.  Have never mastered the ability of being able to put all the smoke back in.  I do prefer to have a design tool or soldering iron in my hand, but do touch the paddle or mic occasionally.  If you work me on HF, chances are that it'll be from the cabin located in the lakes region of central Maine.  At other times, it'll be more likely to be on D-Star or DMR.

My old Australian call was VK4ALE, so you may have already worked me over the last 35 or more years on HF, ATV, and VHF/UHF.

By day, I'm Director of Operations for a SaaS company charged with keeping everything running 24x7.  Seconds of downtime equate to big bucks (and unhappy customers!), so there's alot of design that goes into our systems to acheive that.

Maurice (Mo/Morris).

Jet monitoring the Boston 900MHz repeater.

Building a 2M LNA - those smd's really slow a person down!

Jet waiting for me to finish an alignment on a TS-130S.

Just a little snow at the cabin.

One version of the ever changing shack.
