FYI my nick name is Lin which is the last 1/2 of my middle name Franklin. Get it?

I activated IOTA NA-138 (North East FL Ameilia Island Ft Clinch FL State Park US islands FL032S ) on April 19, 2017. These contacts are on Clublog so you can match them with out a QSL via IOTA and Clublog.

Also I will make a card to confirm any contacts as there were only 26 contacts it won't be fancy, but it will fit the bill for IOTA.

I will be operating from coastal islands in the SE for IOTA activations.

NA-138*, NA-055**, NA-110** *=activated **=scouted

These operations will be on 40, 20,17,15,10m SSB  depending on conditions.  Frequencies will be 28.460, 24.950, 21.260/360, 18.128, 14.260, and 7.255 +/-.

For QSL of IOTA please send an SASE for US and SAE $1 for Intl stations Buro OK for Intl but will take a long time as I don't send packets to the buro often.

Here are photos from my bloomsky WX stations which should be updating during day light hours.  The pic on the left is our lake house at Lake Martin in AL. The Weather Underground ID for this staiton is KALALEXA12  On the right is the home QTH station Weatherunderground ID is KGAATLAN377. You might be able to see a few of my wire antennas in the photo.

Recently got the paper work to ARRL for DXCC after 25 years.  Submit cards for DXCC 20m and my 150 sticker. at Hamvention 2017.  Now working on DXCC CW.  Also very close on 40m with a few more returned QSLs and closing in on 10m and 15m hope to pick those up when the Sun starts cooperating again.  In the short term upto  33 on 80m I will work on 80 more this winter from the lake QTH which as a very low noise floor and a 1500ft (500m) beverage to EU.  (soon to have a 500ft Beverage On Ground for Asia & South Africa).

Applied for WPX in 2016 via LoTW website.  I did not realized I had worked so many Prefixes.

Update: 500 so far and counting. Need 100more for honor roll :)

This is an easy award to get if you have been around a while.  I recommend checking eQSL first and submitting there then going to LoTW and submitting there after eQSL as it is cheeper.  Thanks Steve Bolia N8BJQ for being the awards manager for this fun award.

Just applied for Worked All Europe III SSB and mixed.  I almost qualify for WAE II mixed, but need a few more band points.

TNX to DF8AA Wolfgang Böhmer for being the DARC WAE awards manager.

A fun little award WRTC regions award. look at the rules here: http://wrtc2018.de/images/PDF/WRTC2018_WWQR_Award_HowToParticipate.pdf

LEFT: Figured what the heck I already had all the QSOs uploaded to the DARC site so why not apply for the  EU-PX award sort of a WPX for EU only stations.

RIGHT: Nice award to collect on your way to WAE.  100 contacts on various band with EU stations. TNX - DL4SVA for being the awards manager for Europa Diplom.  Also love the design I am going to print this one and hang it on the wall
