Now some informations about my HF-equipment

mostly I'm using the Icom IC-756 Pro III

The I-PRO Home from Pro Antennas
A centre-fed vertical dipole with capacity hat end loading

The antenna will cover from 20m-10m. If you have an external ATU it can also be persuaded to cover 40m and
30m (an average internal ATU will not handle the high SWR the antenna presents on these bands.)

Feed is at the centre and a balun is present to isolate the transmission line and provide some type of impedance matching. It's quite a lightweight antenna at 4.5 kg -the construction is very good quality and all the components first rate. I do recommend guying the antenna however. There is a lower noise floor with the I-Pro-Home.

For operating on 40m and 80m HF-Bands i use Limited Space High Performance Antennas from Alpha Delta

DX-CC - No-Trap- 80-40-20-15-10 meter dipole or inverted-V. Overall length is 82 ft. is 25 Meter

On my second QTH I am using a HyEndFed (40-20-10 Meter Band) Antenna

It is a half wave wire antenna, due a low loss (~0,8 - 1,1dB) matching network.

Max.power: 200 Watt PEP, Length: 11,85 meter, no radials or tuner needed.

Excellent radiation efficiency due resonant design and low loss parts!

Best regards ... Gerhard

23.01.2015, 08.35 I had a QSO with VK16AC with my HyEndFed and 40 Watts. laugh
