DXing

I am licensed since 1989 and into VHF and UHF DXing for about ten years. Inspired by PA3DZN, PA3FLL (SK) and others I seriously started chasing DXCC's on HF in 2000. My current score is 338 out of 339 DXCC's (342 DXCC's including deleted). Only need KH3 Johnston Island, just one away from #1 Honor Roll. I like all modes but my favourite is CW:

Contesting

I enjoy contesting once or twice per year from my home QTH. With a modest setup (2 yagi's and 1 dipole) I was able to set the current CQWW CW European record 10 meter low power and #5 worldwide in 2014. I also join national and international teams for the CQWW and CQWPX contests. It gave me a chance to meet and learn from some of the best ops from around the globe. Below @ PJ2T with friends from EU, NA and JA for the CQ WW SSB Multi/Multi 2016:

Hardware

TX/RX FT-2000, amps by OM-Power and Acom, ants by Optibeam, SteppIR and crappy homebrew stuff for low bands
