Hello DX.

As the solar cycle heads down, the upper bands become increasingly challenging. To take up the challenge, you can usually find me on 21.205 MHz at UTC Saturday 0415. This is the ANZA 15m DX Net.  http://anzadxnet.webs.com/

These days I mostly operate from the 'Southern Highlands of New South Wales', located 110km SW of Sydney.
A rural wooded location on a ridge. Part of the "Great Dividing Range".

CQ Zone 30,  ITU Zone 59,  Grid Sq. QF55bk,  Wingecarribee Shire WB2,  IOTA OC001.

Limited phone & internet at DX shack.
December 2016 started electronic logging.

Sometimes I operate from Sydney apartment, Rockdale Shire RC2, Grid Sq. QF56na.
Also operate mobile & portable. (Often from Sutherland Shire SU2, mostly Kurnell QF55ox)

My interests are; HF, being On-Air, working DX, improving antennas.

I've had VK2RI from October 2005. VK2RI was originally held by my good friend and colleague Gil Hoyle whom had the call from 1957. My previous call was VK2KYM from 2001. Before that, the call was VK2XTJ, from 1990. Started on walki talkies and shortwave receivers at the age of 12, 1979.
