My former call is KG4OZX  which I held from 2001 until 2013. My wife now holds my former callsign, which we were proud to get after I gave it up. I upgraded to Extra in 2013 and decided to go ahead and change to a W call.

I mostly enjoy net operations (traffic, emergency, OMISS etc.) and some ragchewing on 2m while I drive.

Right now, my wife (KG4OZX) and kids are my first earthly priority. They're only young once, ya know. I hope to enjoy retirement someday, and i'll use that time to chase all the awards and contests.

I have recently completed Level 1 of  CW Ops CW Academy and I'm working on becoming more proficient at code. I really want to work some QRP portable, and CW seems to be the most effective way to do that. I'm also building an interface for PSK-31 and other soundcard digital modes. Hopefully I'll get that on the air soon too!
