Operator Name here is Jason.

I have had this call since July 2002, when i upgraded from my old call sign of ZL2WJA.

I'm running a 20mtr dipole antenna up 30ft at the apex.

Also using a dipole for 40mtr/80mtr up at only 16 feet agl. Antenna is a EANTENNA model EA4080DXS.

I only run 100 watts max on all bands.

My main rig is the  Icom IC7600 and a Icom IC7300. With the Icom IC756 Pro2's as backups.

I am active on modes like SSB, FM , PSK31 , ROS, JT65, JT9, RTTY, OLIVIA, CONTESTIA, WSPR and the Opera digital mode.

Been having fun with JT65-HF and WSPR Modes running only 1watt great mode for qrp work and basic antennas.

Interface's i am using are the RigBlaster Plug and Play from West Mountain Radio in the States. (For the Digi-Modes on the Icom IC756 Pro2).

Using a vertical antenna up 20ft on the 10mtr/12mtr and 30mtrs bands.

The vertical antenna  I  use on some of the digi-modes (at times), such as PSK31 and WSPR , JT-65HF etc..

I have a 2mtr 10 Element Yagi pointing south from my qth towards the Wellington area. With this I can access a number of 2mtr repeaters. The yagi is only about 15ft above the ground on the side of the house.

And the radio I use now on the yagi is a Yaesu FT8800R dual bander.

I'm 42yrs old and a member of Branch 48 (ZL2JA) in Wanganui.
