I received my Amateur Radio license in June 1982 and established my first station during that summer in Tonbridge, England. I moved to my current location in Worthing on the West Sussex coast of England in 1985.

Over the years I have built up my station to operate on all modes 60M - 10M (HF), 6M, 4M and 2M (VHF) and 70cm (UHF).

My main station rigs are a Yaesu FTDX-1200 for HF and 6M, and a Yaesu FT857D used for 2M and 70cm FM and SSB.

I build some of my own equipment, my latest projects include two multi band WSPR/QRSS 180 milliwatt transmitter covering all bands between 60M and 6M.

Below are some pictures of home brew projects of mine: WSPR/QRSS 180 mWatt TX , a 40 Meter band, 10 Watt, SSB TX RX, and a 20 Meter band, 3 Watt, SSB, TX RX.

I am a member of the RSGB, GQRP, W.A.B and WACRAL.

Other Interests.

Motorcycles, fishing and following my retirement in 2015, I have embarked on a new adventure as a volunteer presenter on my local hospital radio station, Seaside Hospital Radio. The station broadcasts to the local hospitals, and over the internet 24 hours a day.
