The Southeastern Massachusetts Amateur Radio Association, Inc. is an ARRL affilated club that was founded in 1932 by Alan Cooper, W1HSR. Our association owns three acres of land at 54 Donald Street in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, USA.

Our clubhouse was erected in 1977 and is situated about 100 feet back from the road. It consists of a meeting hall, radio area, kitchen area and two restrooms. Our original clubhouse was a Quonset hut erected in 1955 when the club first purchased the property. That hut was attached to the current building until its demolition in 2007. To the rear of the club building is a small storage shed and workshop.

To the rear of the property (in the woods) is a 180 foot tall communications tower with our 2-meter, 220 MHz and 900 MHz repeater antennas at the top. The tower is situated on a 100x100 square foot section of land leased to NETCOM, Inc., a communications site manager. NETCOM in turn sub-leases to various cellular providers and other companies in need of tower space. This arrangement provides a steady monthly income to the club.

For more information about our club and repeaters, please visit the about and repeaters sections of our website.
