WWwWelcome to the Homepage of 2E0 MBH

My QTH is a small town in Nottinghamshire within the East Midlands UK. In the heart of Sherwood Forest, Not too far away from the highest place in Nottinghamshire and the centre tree of Sherwood Forest. But unluckily for me for I live in the dip and not on the hill, which is not that good for radio but in makes it more fun!

I have been a short wave listener since 1987 from when I was 10 years of age, (that’s over 30 years ago now)  In March 2005 I passed my M3 and in April 2009 I passed the 2E0. I am looking forwards to going on and passing the full call and getting a M0 call.

In 2010 I was informed by my Doctor that I had Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, FM and Chronic Otitis media with erosion of the inner ear structures, with an inactivitiy lift ear. Ham Radio is playing an important in helping get over my illness and I am enjoying the QSO on the radio.

I have been a member of my local Radio Amateurs Emergency Network in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire UK since I became a member in 2006 thats 10 years now.. I am also a member of the RSGB, B.A.R.L.S

On the 17/2/2017 i Became a member of the radio Guild which i am enjoying at this time, feel free to give me a call, if you hear me on ROIP
